The difference between LED neon and real neon is that they are two completely different technologies. LED neon consists of LED strips that illuminate, while neon is made of glass and lights up when electricity passes through the gas. LED neon produces the same effect and illuminates very well, if not better. Additionally, LED neon is much less fragile than glass neon, where the glass tubes can easily break. LED neon also consumes much less power and is better for the environment.
